REDBULL: “STRATOS”

In 2012 RedBull’s “Stratos” project involved an Australian Skydiver named Felix Baumgarner broke the world record for the highest altitude dive ever. What’s crazy is RedBull got to advertise this event while millions of people watched. This advertising campaign positioned RedBull as a company that’s involved in “extreme sports."

According to adage.com, “The event was carried on nearly 80 TV stations in 50 countries. The live webcast was distributed through 280 digital partners and racked up 52 million views, making it the most-watched live stream in history.”

RedBull was able to increase its sales by 7% to $1.6 billion in the U.S alone.

NIKE: “JUST DO IT”

Most everyone is familiar with Nike in 2019, but what began their journey to who they are now was a commercial advertised in 1998. Nike’s “Just Do It” advertising campaign was a huge success. It positioned the company as someone who encouraged you to chase your dreams. You can do anything with Nike. The well known slogan “Just Do It” turns pair of words into sales.

GOT MILK?

Got Milk?” is a classic marketing campaign that did it right. It begins with a question to introduce a problem. The radio asks “who shot Alexander Hamilton?” The man knew the answer but had just taken a huge bite of a peanut butter sandwich. The radio called and he tried to answer the question and could not speak so he poured himself some milk… but he was all out and missed out on $10,000. The question at the end was “got milk?”

It became widely popular for two decades.

CHIPOTLE: “BACK TO THE START”

The carefully planned media buy from Chipotle was executed perfectly. This video was never meant to be on T.V but soon ended up being on it because of the great response they received online. The numbers were impeccable.

MARLBORO: “THE MARLBORO MAN”

The Marlboro man advertising campaign started in 1995, they showed a man smoking a cigarette relaxing and fishing. This positioned Marlboro as the man’s cigarette.

Till this day (September 2019) Marlboro is still the leading cigarette brand in the world. The company began leading after putting a face and a persona to the company so the customers would feel like “The Marlboro Man” when smoking Marlboro’s.

DOLLAR SHAVE CLUB: “OUR BLADES ARE F***ING GREAT”

A startup broke the internet and their ad quickly went viral from the phrase “Our blades are f***ing great.” One of the up and coming businesses in 2019 would be considered one of the best advertisements I’ve seen in a long time. In 2012 the ad seen over 26 million times launched a huge success for the company.

This startup racked up 4.75 million views in just 3 months while only spending $4,500 to create the video. Talk about ROI.

OLD SPICE: THE MAN YOUR MAN COULD SMELL

The campaign debuted in 2010 and was a huge success. The company gained 11 million views on social media, taking the campaign viral.

Between January and July, 2010 sales jumped 55% and in July alone they rose to 107%.

DOS EQUIS: “MOST INTERESTING MAN IN THE WORLD”

Dos Equis positioned itself as a beer for sophisticated drinkers through this one commercial. In 2006 Dos Equis coined the phrase, “I don’t always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.” The phrase changed thousands of times turned into memes and is still popular to see on social media in 2019.

SPACEX TESLA ROADSTER IN SPACE

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX took over social media attention with this stunt. Elon Musk launched a Tesla Roadster into outer space successful marketing both of his companies without spending $1 on paid advertising.

From this, he generated over half a million conversations, while also continuing to be a meme shared throughout the world.

IHOP TO IHOB

In 2018 the famous breakfast brand known as “IHop” tweeted out a post saying they were changing their name from “IHop” to “IHob.” This stood for “International House of Burgers” instead of “International House of Pancakes.” This campaign blew up and went sweeping through all the socially media platforms and even appeared on T.V.

The firm quadrupled its sales.

CONCLUSION

Many highly profitable marketing campaigns come from video. Video captures audiences attention and helps the customers see who the company is. Just look at the video marketing statistics in 2018. No email or text you can send, no words on your website compare to running a successful video marketing campaign.

Google Ads Keywords and ad groups used for a flooring company looking to generate more leads for flooring installation, flooring refinishing, & flooring repair.
By Kyle Waters 09 Mar, 2021
Introduction Should you run ads on Google or Bing? Why not both? Most people fight over which one is better, although we are not here to talk about that. Both are great and you should be on both. Bing is known for having less traffic than Google. With everything perceived wrong there is an opportunity shining bright ready for companies to take charge. In this post, we will cover everything from how/why Bing offers a lower CPC than Google to the easy inputs that Bing has put into its ad platform to allow easy automation of successful ads. After reading this post, you should be able to understand how Bing is a great place for a company wanting to get in front of more customers. Here are some statistics on why your company should be using Bing: 6 billion monthly searches 34.7% Desktop The usage is a 50/50 between male and female One advertiser found that his bounce rate for Bing-generated traffic is 8% lower than the site’s overall bounce rate. Bing recently increased its website exclusion limits from 500 to 2000, enabling better targeting and quality control. Easily import Google Ads campaign into Bing Ads What are Bing Ads? Similar to Google Adwords, Bing is a platform where hundreds of millions of searches happen each day. People of all ages still use Bing as their main search engine. Bing is the second largest search engine in the United States, which gives companies a great opportunity to get in on the low CPC (cost-per-click) and the even lower CPA (cost-per-action/acquisition/lead). The reason you don't hear many companies bring up Bing is that it is not the primary go-to for PPC Advertising. You often hear more of Google Adwords and Facebook. Let’s uncover the strategy behind Bing and how it can lead to more customers. Where Bing Advertising Thrives Bing ads thrive where no other advertising platform does. Being the most overlooked platform now, Bing offers huge potential to grow your business fast and affordably. Here is why: LOWER CPC AND CPA Bing is great for companies looking for another ad platform to grow their business on. Since Bing has a lower search query than Google that means Bing’s keywords and advertising is overall cheaper than Google. RETURN ON AD The average return on ad spend (ROAS) for Google Shopping campaigns is 751% versus 1,345% for Bing Product Ads. Searchers on Microsoft and Yahoo sites are likely to spend 21.5% more than the average web searcher The average revenue per click for Google Shopping campaigns is $3.58 versus $4.43 for Bing Product Ads. AGE DIFFERENCE Nearly 40% of Bing users are between 35-54 years old. Great industries for Bing are industries that target middle and older age people. This is a great way to lower your CPC while also lowering your CPA because you understand the audience you are looking to target. WAGE GAP This is a big one. Since the age gap is more focused on middle generations these people also prove to have more money. 33% of Bing users have a household income of over $100,000. Expensive services and products not only perform better on Bing because of the older generation the wage gap is higher than Google’s average. AUTOMATION Bing makes automation really easy. So easy a beginner that knows very little about Bing advertising can go on to the Bing advertising dashboard and set up automation. This automation includes turning on and off keywords, ads, ad groups, campaigns, and more. You can choose only to enable the campaign when… Fill in the blank… That helps you save costs and only show ads when a certain metric is being met. LOWER COMPETITION Bing ads are easily overlooked by a majority of companies. Most, don’t even consider Bing as an optimal platform to advertise on. The best attribute that Bing advertising offers is the lower competition compared to other advertising platforms. While Bing has a historically lower cost-per-click, they also have lower competition which allows your ad to show up higher in the results for the individuals who don’t use Google. There are buyers and you can get more volume to your website for a more affordable price than Google. CONCLUSION Bing gets a lot more hate than it should. It isn't talked about nearly enough in the advertising space. In reality, Bing advertising can be just as or more profitable than Google Adwords. Just because it has less traffic doesn't mean they don't have enough to make a significant difference on a business. Bing on average gets almost 900,000,000 searches every single day. That is a ton and since fewer companies are advertising in that space it leaves lots of room for your company to jump in and get in front of more customers. generate more reviews for junk removal companies
By Kyle Waters 22 Feb, 2021
Generating more reviews isn't hard and it is actually very simple. The first step to maximizing reviews is to ask for them using a review link. You should direct all junk removal reviews to high-volume directory sites.
