NIKE: “JUST DO IT”

Most everyone is familiar with Nike in 2019, but what began their journey to who they are now was a commercial advertised in 1998. Nike’s “Just Do It” advertising campaign was a huge success. It positioned the company as someone who encouraged you to chase your dreams. You can do anything with Nike. The well known slogan “Just Do It” turns pair of words into sales.

GOT MILK?

Got Milk?” is a classic marketing campaign that did it right. It begins with a question to introduce a problem. The radio asks “who shot Alexander Hamilton?” The man knew the answer but had just taken a huge bite of a peanut butter sandwich. The radio called and he tried to answer the question and could not speak so he poured himself some milk… but he was all out and missed out on $10,000. The question at the end was “got milk?”

It became widely popular for two decades.

CHIPOTLE: “BACK TO THE START”

The carefully planned media buy from Chipotle was executed perfectly. This video was never meant to be on T.V but soon ended up being on it because of the great response they received online. The numbers were impeccable.
